Peg Perego John Deere Farm Tractor and Trailer Features:
Whether you child is running on pedal power of battery power they will enjoy some features that make it look like the real thing.
Both come equipped with a realistic dash board to make it look just like the real thing. The dashboard is a sticker that shows the logo and all the gauges that the real tractor would have.
The 12 volt battery farm tractor trailer has extra high stake sides so that your child can haul around larger items such as a large ball. The trailer is easily unattached when they do not want to ride around with it.
The trailer that comes with the pedal tractor has small solid sides perfect for hauling toys, sticks and other small loads such as mulch or leaves.
Seats Are Adjustable
The seats in both are adjustable to grow with your child. There are two settings for your child.
The tires are a hard plastic on both models.
The tires on the pedal model are chain driven. The chain is safely encased in the body of the tractor to keep little fingers out of it. The chain hooks to the rear axle to power both rear wheels not just one.
The tires on the battery tractor are all terrain for grass, dirt, gravel or pavement. The wheels are both individually powered for more tractions and power. This will keep the tractor from spinning its wheels as much as power toys with only one wheel powered.
The pedal version can be pedaled in both forward and backward motions.
The battery powered has two forward gears and a reverse gear. The two forward gears are 2¼ and 4½ mph. There is a parental lockout for the 4½ mph for safety. The gearshift is located in the center console between your childs legs. They can easily place the lever into the gear that they want and go unless you have it locked out.
The tractors come partially assembled. All the main parts are assembled. One thing to immediately take note of is that there are both illustrations and written directions, but they are not located together. This is due to the directions being in different languages. The first directions you will see are the illustrations. Locate the language your prefer and then you will find the written directions to go with the illustrations.
